Pleasant dry white wine produced from the most ancient and enchanting white grape variety of the Roero region: the Arneis.
The sandy, dry, and mineral rich soil gives this wine personality and unmistakable quality characteristics, therefore over the years it has carved out an important space in a land of prestigious red wines.
Grape variety: Arneis
Geographical Location: In the municipality of Canale (CN).
Vineyard characteristics: Hilly well exposed vineyards. The soil is sandy, dry, and rich in minerals. The vines are trained with the Guyot system
Vinification: Pressing of the manually harvested and perfectly ripe grapes immediately on their arrival to the winery. Must fermentation without marc for a few days in stainless steel tanks, after which it cooled and fined to free it from any impurity.
Maturation and aging: To keep the freshness and aromas intact the wine is stored in steel tanks for 3/4 months, and bottled.
Organoleptic characteristics: Intense straw yellow colour with green reflections; very intense, sophisticated and amiable aroma with sensations of fresh fruit; dry flavour, with a marked savouriness and freshness.
Accompaniments: A fine and sophisticated wine that can be served as an aperitif; ideal with hors d’oeuvres, pasta and fish dishes.
Served at 8 – 10 °C.
