A red wine obtained from the vinification of the selected 100% Nebbiolo grapes. “Sesì” comes from the union of two names and it is our dedication to the good that we try to pass on to the future generation.
Grape variety: 100% Nebbiolo grapes.
Vineyard characteristics: Grapes from vineyards with excellent exposure in the classic production area. The vines are cultivated with the Guyot system.
Vinification: De-stemming and crushing of the hand-picked and the perfectly ripe grapes. Fermentation with maceration on the skins for 14-15 days. Pumping over every day, to get the maximal extraction of the skins. Drawing off.
Maturation and aging: Aged in wood for at least 36 months and finally bottled.
Organoleptic characteristics: Ruby red color with garnet reflections, the nose is complex, balsamic with notes of rose, liquorice that evolve in hints
of vanilla and white pepper whit aging. The palate is powerful, structure, savory with remarkable final persistence.
Served at 18-20°C.
