Vino Spumante di Qualità Brut
The quality wine Spumante Brut is produced with Arneis grapes using only the first pressing must. The sparkling
process follows the “Metodo Classico”. The slow fermentation in bottle and the following refinement “sur lie”, allow us to get a sparkling wine with a straw yellow colour with an elegant, fine and persistent perlage. The taste is dry and the bouquet is delicate.
Grape variety: Arneis.
Geographical location: : Canale (CN) Piedmont, Italy.
Vineyard characteristics: Well-exposed and hilly vineyard. The soil is dry, sandy and rich in minerals. The vines are cultivated with the Guyot system.
Vinification: Using of the grape must, got from the pressing of the manually harvested and perfectly ripe grapes immediately on their arrival in the winery. Only the first pressing must is used. Then, the must ferments without pomace for some days in controlled steel tanks, after which it occurs the sparkling process “Metodo Classico”.
Maturation and aging: Refermentation in bottle and lees suspension for 12-18months, “dégorgement a la glace” and 4 months-refining in lying bottles before being sold.
Organoleptic characteristics: Straw yellow colour; delicate and fragrance with a dry and harmonic flavour.
Served at 8-10°C.
Accompaniments: It is perfect for appetizers and to celebrate great occasions. Suitable for dessert too.
