denominazione di origine controllata e garantita
Reserve
Dedicated to father “Menico”: a life of passion and work in the vineyards.
Grape variety: Wine obtained from the selection of 100% Nebbiolo grapes.
Geographical location: Grapes mainly sourced from the Loreto area (Cuneo, CN).
Vineyard characteristics: Well-exposed hilly vineyard. The soil is dry, sandy and rich in minerals. The vines are cultivated with the Guyot system.
Vinification: The grapes are carefully handpicked. Destemmed, and crushed with subsequent maceration for approximately 15 days on the skins.
Maturation and aging: Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in tanks, followed by aging for at least 24 months in large Slavonian oak barrels.
Organoleptic characteristics: Ruby red color with brilliant garnet reflections, the aromas are ample and complex, ethereal, with evident notes of cherry, plum, sweet spices, and violet. During the tasting, the dense tannic structure provided by the grape variety emerges, along with a beautiful sweetness and remarkable persistence on the palate.
