It is a pleasant rosè wine, slightly lively, got from the vinification of 100% barbera grapes.
Grape variety: Barbera.
Geographical location: Cisterna (AT) Piedmont, Italy
Vineyard characteristics: Well-exposed and hilly vineyard. The soil is dry, sandy and rich in minerals. The vines are cultivated with the Guyot system.
Vinification: The hand-picked grapes are immediatly pressed and fermented at low temperature sto enhance the aromas of fruit and flowers. Refermentation in autoclave till 0,8 bar of pression.
Maturation and aging: To keep the freshness and fragrance the wine remains in steel tanks for 3-4 months, and then bottled.
Organoleptic characteristics: The color is bright, from pink to cherry. The nose was fresh, with evident notes of strawberry, cherry and a floral background. The drink is fresh and savoury, with a nice acidic finish. Slightly lively.
Served at 10-12°C.
Accompaniments: It is perfect for appetizers, fish dishes, white meats and vegetables.
